This patch addresses several critical issues reported by players since the launch of Once Human. We appreciate your patience and feedback, and we’re committed to providing a consistently smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.

Key Improvements & Fixes

  • Improved AI Behavior: We've significantly improved the AI routines for both enemy and non-player characters (NPCs). This should result in more realistic interactions, reduced instances of unintended behavior (like pathfinding glitches), and a more challenging overall gameplay experience.

  • Fixed Crashes & Game Stability: Several reported crashes, particularly those linked to specific hardware configurations and high-intensity combat scenarios, have been resolved. We've also implemented improved error handling to increase overall game stability.

  • Enhanced Graphics Settings: We've added a new "Performance" graphics setting designed to optimize the game for lower-end systems, allowing more players to experience Once Human. Existing high-end settings have also received minor enhancements for visual fidelity.

  • Gameplay Adjustments: Several areas of the game have undergone minor balance adjustments. Specifically, we have:

    • Reduced the damage output of the "Venomous Viper" enemy type in the early game stages.
    • Increased the health pool of the "Guardian Golem" boss fight in Act 2.
    • Slightly increased the drop rate of rare crafting materials found in the "Whispering Caves."
  • Bug Fixes: This patch also addresses numerous minor bugs and glitches affecting various aspects of the game, including:

    • Fixed a bug causing some dialogue options to be unresponsive.
    • Resolved an issue with overlapping textures in certain environments.
    • Corrected an error in the quest tracking system.

Known Issues

While the majority of reported issues have been addressed, we are aware of a few outstanding problems currently under investigation:

  • Occasional stuttering in high-density areas.
  • Rare instances of character clipping through environmental objects.
