The pursuit of cheap oil should never come at the cost of human dignity. The history of the oil industry reminds us that true progress requires a fundamental shift in values, prioritizing ethical practices over short-term profits. Only through collective action can we ensure a future where the pursuit of energy does not come at the expense of human lives.
