Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) has become a staple in modern gaming, promising enhanced visual fidelity with minimal performance impact – or even a boost. But lately, reports are surfacing that, for some, DLSS is actually decreasing their frames per second (FPS). This isn't a universal experience, but understanding why it happens is crucial for optimizing your gaming setup.

The Promise (and Pitfalls) of DLSS

DLSS, developed by NVIDIA, utilizes AI to upscale lower-resolution images to match your monitor's resolution. The idea is to render the game at a lower resolution, significantly reducing the processing load on your GPU, while still delivering a sharp image thanks to the AI upscaling. Troubleshooting Low FPS with DLSS

If you're experiencing lower FPS with DLSS enabled, try the following:
